The Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System (SCCOOS) and the Central & Northern California Ocean Observing System (CeNCOOS) would like to inform you of its coastal ocean observing resources that may be of interest and relevant to you. SCCOOS brings together coastal observations in the Southern California Bight, and CeNCOOS from Point Conception to the Oregon border. These observations provide the information necessary to address a variety of coastal ocean issues, including ecosystems and climate trends, water quality, marine operations, and coastal hazards. All information is available publicly through the two programs' websites, www.cencoos.org and www.sccoos.org, where you can access near real-time and archived data. Some common products can be accessed via either web site. Information on some of the products that have been developed is listed below. New products are constantly being developed, and feedback is encouraged. Program managers encourage you to visit these websites to take advantage of this valuable information. Please feel free to contact them with any questions at heather@mbari.org or 831-775-1987 for CeNCOOS, or at info@sccoos.org or (858) 534-9808 for SCCOOS.
