Never met the guy or been on one of his boats. All I know is that the captain ("master") of the vessel has, as a matter of law, the final say and responsibility for safety. While the divemasters may have also been at fault, that does not absolve the captain from responsibility. He is lucky they only pulled his ticket for 6 mos.

Hard to see how you guys can blame the diver for being left behind, but everyone is entitled to his opinion. He may have been stupid, badly trained, etc., but so was the crew.
