I just went through a month long asthma. I have not had it this bad for 3 years. I got asthma from the red tide 5 years ago. I now have a breathing machine(when I need it), take advir 2x a day and singular at night to prevent asthma. My question is if you take a couple of emergency puffs from your inhaler(preventive)will it open your lungs up. I have never had a problem before when diving. Also the spiro peak flow is 300 and I am 58 inches and 52 years of age. Any suggestions for diving with asthma. I have been diving since 92 and loved every minute of it.
