Managed to get out diving on Palm Sunday with Ross-O.

First we went to the wreck of the Ace One.

All was good, but the viz on the wreck was minimal.

Ross scootered me in tow all over the upside down hull.

We ran into some neat stuff.
I don't know what these purple things are...

Then we saw the mayor of the wreck.
Aparently he has been there for quite q while.

Before you know it, it is back to the anchor line.

The blue water was awash in teeny jellies.
Boy are those things hard to see in your viewfinder.

That was fun.
Off to the other side of PV. Over here the viz looks bad.
Right about Abalone cove, we saw a clear distinct difference in the water. It was as sharp horizontally as a thermocline is vertically.

No pix :-(
We come roaring up, and who do we see?

Let's look closer...

Well if it isn't the Bottomtonians on what MUST be a rented skiff! They shouted a few expletives, and made some finger gestures, and motored off.
"Hey this looks good" spouts Ross.
And it did!
We nearly scootered a mile!

Found a weird clump of net that looks like a spire.

Then we went looking for the Legendary Buchannon Anchor Boneyard.
Didn't find it, but found a few...

Here is ross with a Halo

Found a couple of abandon Lobster traps.

After making sure they were truly abandon, we left the doors open.
After quite a bit of scooting Ross pointed out a Mola.

Poor fellah had something embedded on his top fin.
Back on board, we are done for the day.
