I have the "Sport" transmitter (the more powerful one) and the "Scout" receiver (smaller and easy to use). This is also the set-up configuration that Chris uses. The "Sport" receiver is a little large, and the "Scout" transmitter doesn't have as much range.

Works great, but must have a relatively clear line of sight between the transmitter and the receiver. Cliffs, Rocks, and thick kelp can obstruct reception. If there are two or more of the transmitter hanging off the vessel - the boat will show up like a neon sign!!
