I've owned a few Ebay drysuits with varying success. For the price of a wetsuit I managed to get in several dozen dry dives, and a lot more leaky ones.
If you plan to dive sites such as Marineland, White Point or any goat trail in Palos Verdes you should get a crushed neoprene suit. Trilam suits tear easily on rocks and mussels.
For boat diving, a trilam suit would work well. They are light and dry in minutes.
