Yup. I keep an eye out to sea when walking along all beaches up along the North Coast and keep an exit route in mind in case I see one coming. Biggest concern is my dog playing along the surf - ready to call her back if I see any rise on the horizon.

This year it seemed like a lot more large logs were high up on the beach - must have had some wild winter storms. The parking lot at Arena Cove flooded and they had to move the trailered boats inland. Was back to normal Easter, but did have a couple of days of extra high tides.
