Seahunt - Are you thinking of yourself as the woman in or as the elephant seal in the video in your 20s?

And I really don’t’ mean to “rag on Brad” (but I will). The walrus dancing is quite the antithesis of the elephant seal and a rather sad commentary. The elephant seal is a wild animal in its home acting natural while trying to sort out that this other small strange “elephant” seal is about. In contrast, the walrus video, while at first amusing, is in fact a magnificent animal that it captors have made look silly by anthropomorphizing it as human - “Michael Jackson”. I’m definitely not against zoos or aquariums as this is often the only place much of our population can see many magnificent animals and through that may get an appreciation of how spectacular they are. And then hopefully, some of these people will be more supportive of the preservation/protection and probably more importantly, the protection of the habitat of these animals. However, walrus act is out of touch in that regard and I suspect and hope, in time will be viewed much like “black face” comedy now is.
