Dive Report: Catalina aboard the Magician on May 8, 2010 |
Posted by Chris on May 08, 2010 at 20:32:31: I went to Catalina Island today aboard the Magician. I just got a new 3 piece 8mm wet suit I want to adjust the weights for and search for Halibut. The visibility was 20-30 feet. The water temperature varied from 60°F in 40 feet or less down to 53°F below 80 feet and down to 130 feet. I did not see any halibut today, but I did see several angel sharks in the sand outside of the Old Rock Quarry. One was a large one at about 5 feet long. The rest were smaller. I took some 3D pictures on the topside. You will need red/cyan glasses to see the 3D. Chris click on the images to enlarge These 3D photos require RED on the left and CYAN on the right 3D anaglyph glasses to view.
