Pat, while you were providing gourmet dining on fugu (puffer fish) for the birds at the beach, at the same time you may were contributing to a local “die off” of seagulls and vultures. Since the liver and other organs of the puffer fish is well known to carry anhydrotetrodotoxin 4-epitetrodotoxin, aka Tetrodotoxin, it would have been sort of a ‘Mexican Roulette’ for the birds. Be careful, the “Green Police” may come after you for that.
