After finally getting the boat back in the water and running 100% we went out for our first div in what seemed like months! We decided to try the LCM3 off Torrance Beach, it seemed like a nice easy dive since we had my sons girlfriend with us who hasn't been diving since getting certified almost a year ago. Surface conditions didn't look good, rolly and some red tide, but we anchored over the wreck and decided to try it anyway. We where pleasantly surprised. After pulling ourselves down the anchor line through pea soup the vis opened up to about 20-25 feet in cooold water. We had a great dive, saw lots of fish and all the other usual stuff, and the newbie girlfriend had her bouyancy control down pat! Nice! Don't let the surface conditions deter you, it's nice out there!
