Hey Chris, Just a couple of thoughts. The UB88 guys kept the secret for 7 yrs. In fact if someone hadn't given up the depth it would still be a secret. You will note us that the website is about the history of the different craft they have found, you may also note that they are doing this work with their own money and time. They are not sponsored by a college, or the government, they are doing work for the love of discovery and history of the discovery. This community should be proud to have a group like this among them. But all this community does is bitch about how they don't share numbers(what a bunch of petty donkeys ).

The UB88 team is not about ripping up their discoveries for artifacts, they are not about destroying the marine environment. They have not used explosives, torches, wrenches, bolt cutters, hammers, crow bars, spear guns, or pole spears, they have only used camera's. They have not killed the last halibut in Laguna, or tried to kill themselves on a wreck that is nothing but a junk yard in 250 ft. of water (and then pound there chest about a bell). These type of activities seems to get praise in this community.
I really have to wonder what's going on? Did you know that one of the tech charters already had the UB88 listed as a dive (to sign up on). It's all about money, once the numbers are out there, you will have Charters with Advanced PADI divers (on single tanks) diving sub. You will have divers penetrating the wreck and you will have accidents.
Some secrets are best left secret (but not in this community of super egos).
