We dived the canyon last night with the hopes of getting a shot of the mud eels, once again if anyone has a shot of an eel like creature that is not a cusk eel in the redondo canyon, please post it. I wound up loosing my new Sea and sea dc 800 digital camera. It came off my wrist and floated to the surface. Not willing to risk an ascent from 80', the camera was gone. After cleaning the 27" 7lb flattie my buddie Mark got, we searched for the camera but did not see it. My buddie Johnny c who works at Northrup went down there to search for the camera, he found it 200 yards south of topaz jetty washed up high and dry. I will be for ever grateful to him for finding that 850 dollar camera. Conditions were ok, 20' vis and 64 degree water shallow, 20' vis with 52 degree water at 80', cold.
