As you know, no less that The Admiral, my wife, says she would have gone in with her snorkling gear if she'd had it on board. To me, that means it was definitely "cuddly". And I bet you could train it to "fetch" so when it grew up you could go "Here Bruce baby, go fetch that nice surfer."
