We left the whales alone and went diving

Merry and I dived the Fog Wreck for the first time since the nets were removed. It looks much smaller now. :)
We didn't find any wolfeels, but the sand bass seemed to be thriving. Merry's camera had issues, so no stills. I shot video, but the lights died halfway through the dive. We surfaced to find wind waves everywhere. It took us forty minutes to go from Redondo Beach to Los Angeles Harbor, then a couple hours to get back. Visibility was a greenish fifteen feet with 52F on the bottom.
Thanks to Ross Overstreet, Merry Passage and the volunteers of Ocean Defenders for their help in removing the nets.
This was the first section of net removed by Ross, Merry and me. ODA removed the rest.
