I took the following images of Epiactis prolifera (Brooding anemone) on Macrocystis pyrifera (Giant Kelp) were photographed at Tyler Bight, San Miguel Island, California on Friday September 10, 2010. All were taken during my extended safety stop at a depth of 15 to 25 feet in 60 to 70 foot deep water.
