Even though the guy is a total douche and didn't do what he was supposed to etc., it's still the DM's and to some lesser degree the boats fault. If he would have been counted as missing like it should have been and a search started right away AT THE CORRECT LOCATION FROM THE START we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I don't know why everybody gets so mad at Carlock, they left the door wide open for a verdict like this.
