There were five octopus in an area about twenty feet wide. I don't remember seeing that many so close before. Each one was in a crack, but this one was sticking out halfway until I approached. There were several fish around him, so maybe I caught him in the middle of a quick change of disguise.
This reef is within 250 feet of shore, so there was no evidence of netting nor fishing line.
