Diver rescued off Redondo Beach

Rescue personnel work on a diver who was was with three other divers off the shore at Ruby Street when he disappeared about 12:50 p.m., police and lifeguards said. The other divers are safe. Rescuers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the diver and took him to a hospital.

The other divers are safe.
