The annual UnderwaterTreeTrimmingToyDriveHook'nLadderVeteran'sPark event is just around the corner. On Saturday morning, December 18th it does not matter how young or how old...no matter how naughty or how nice....it is a time when divers, friends and family can give back to a local family that is in need.

A tree and gifts will be collected by the Redondo Beach Fire Department. If duties allow, they will bring by the hook n ladder truck for children (and our local lady divers) to take pictures with our local heros. Please take the time to bring a new unwrapped gift.

The festivities will be going on from before the sun comes up, till around noon. Come join in any or all of the fun. At dawn, elves will arrive with fruit to be transformed into ornaments for the underwater tree. More elves will secure the underwater tree and mark it with a float before checking out conditions for Scuba Santa Clause to arrive. Santa will be underwater posing by the tree from 8am to 9am with more elves taking pictures and video. There will be refreshments, games, and raffles as we collect toys for the Fire Department to pick up. Traditionally, they have come by the parking lot around 11am.
