It has more settings than i will probly ever use. Having a bigger sensor than most pocket camera's is plus. It takes great pictures in auto mode on land. I'm not so sure the under water setting will actually be the best for UW pix. I'm going to try to use program mode, this lets u adjust white balance and apaturei believe. Anyway, it's a lot of camera in a small package. I purchased the Canon housing for it which is pretty cool.
