I haven't been diving long enough to get a sense of whether the rockfish are recovering. However, now that we can get offshore, we're consistently seeing young rockfish.

On Buchanan's Reef in August, we counted more than 30 vermilion rockfish of assorted sizes as they clustered around us, just checking us out. Mind-blowing!

Young blue rockfish are showing up at Buchanan's and Hawthorne Reefs, too, which is a real treat.
