We though conditions were going to be great, flat, glassy 1-3' surf, 5-10 commercial squid light boats right off the shore. We dropped down and vis was as low as 1' in some ares, a severe late fall red tide has hit Laguna. We got a couple of legal bugs in the cold 55 degree water, and we found some nice clean 20' vis in deeper water around 30', but where the bugs are, vis was bad.
