Hello! I have a boat in King Harbor also. If the swell is up and from the west or north west, I will usually call off the dive sooner than if the swell is from the usual south-west. If the swell is up and from the south-west we usually hit a deeper spot, some of the artificial reefs off Redondo and Hermosa can still have good vis when a swell is running. Have fun!!
