Posted by The Sea Divers on January 31, 2011 at 20:41:16: Andy Lamb who is the author of Coastal Fishes of the Pacific Northwest and Marine Life of the Pacific Northwest will be speaking at the Sea Divers meeting this Tuesday evening February 1, 2010 at 7PM at the Redondo Beach Round Table Pizza at 4330 Redondo Beach Blvd. on the Southeast corner of RBB and Hawthorne. Andy Lamb is also the owner of the Cedar Beach Ocean Lodge on Thetis Island, British Columbia, will present a program about Pacific Coast Marine Life: the fish stay the same, the world around them changes. .Andy has a PowerPoint presentation that discusses how we have changed our attitudes toward Pacific Coast marine life over the last 30 years. This PowerPoint presentation also describes their Bed and Breakfast plus dive resort as well as diving in BC. Andy will also present a 6 minute DVD from Canadian television. If you are having difficulty identifying a creature you took a picture of bring it along and there is a good chance Andy will know what it is.
