Back in the old days, this was exactly the Max & Merry dive plan. Complete with hostile Terranea natives and flooded dry suits.

Yes I actually saw Merry paddling around on an inflated Max.
And yes I have seen him slice open his drysuit to let all the water out.

Further I personally witnessed Max in a swordfish dual at 80fsw.

Honest!
