CHAMBER CHALLENGE 2011 - UPDATE #5 - $22,418 (posted 3/28 - last updated 3/23)

Things keep chugging along . . .

And this is all very, very good. Today's update once again underscores how important each donation is because we basically have two larger ones and a lot of smaller ones that all add up to a significant jump ahead for our total.

First, let's start off with our two Silver sponsors, who come to us from Ocean Adventures (Steve Ladd of OA also serves as our Prize Procurer) and also from California Diving News. Both gave been longtime and vocal supporters of our Chamber and both have tagged their contribution in memory of Mark Tulin.

And then we have a whole slew of $100 and some smaller donations, most in Mark's name, and including one from his first wife, Dr. Lani Ackerman-Kalla and one from Mark's daughter Samantha (Sam) Tulin.

We should also point out that if you'd like to make a donation to the Challenge in memory of someone else, you can do that on our Chamber Challenge contribution page. Just choose the amount you want to donate, and then fill in the box that says "Other donation assignment" with the name of the person you'd like to remember. It's that simple.

We've still got a long ways to go this year but we're moving at a good clip. So who will keep the momentum going? Who will push us closer to $25,000? Who's next?????
