Cabezon Egg Sitting

Have seen three cabezon nest sitting in the past two weeks.

According to DFG regulations for Southern Management Region it is open season on them.

Seems to me it would be nice (and wise) to close this species to spearfishing for the duration of its nesting to ensure survival of the next generation.
