Otter and I have dove Point Dume man times over the years and we have surface swum around the Point (yes, on purpose!) to get to Dume Cove for some great snorkeling (taking the stairs back). Not to mention the work we used to do with LA County and 3-R's there plus some pribvate dive classes.

Have never seen one shark (except in the pen off Malibu when Baywatch took us over there).

Of coourse, that doesn't mean the sharks didn't see or feel us!

The wierdest feeling I ever had was solo diving the pinnacles there and finding a perfectly good spear gun (sans its owner). Ever have that feeling you're being watched?
