Posted by Janna Nichols on May 24, 2011 at 08:20:09: Learn California Fish ID (free!) while sitting in your favorite easy chair at home! Tonight's fun, short 45 min sessions will include those Pesky Perch (7pm) and Scalawag Sculpins (8pm). Fishinars are put on by REEF to train divers in Fish ID so they can help monitor fish populations while on their recreational dives. (you only need to know how to ID one fish to get started - no need to be an expert). However, anyone is welcome to attend - divers or not. Classes are free but you must register for each session you'd like to attend. Hope to 'see' you there! (and I'll see you at the REEF booth at the Long Beach Scuba Show soon too!) - Janna |
