We dive Aliso Beach tonight and conditions were very good. After looking at the high wind forecast all week, we were surprised to find 1-2' surf with no wind at all. Vis was 15-20', low surge and the water temp was 65 degrees. We saw huge Bat Rays feeding in the shallows, and large schools of Perch and Yellowfin Croakers. We also saw many Halibut in the shallows, I got my first legal of the summer, 29" 11lb flattie, a great beach dive.
