For flexible day trips, Stuart Cove's is the best. A lot of the resorts on New Providence, have local (native) dive operations, but they will leave you really unhappy. Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas has claim to all the best reefs, wrecks and walls on New Providence (the Island that Nassau is on). And, they have twice daily shuttles that pick up at all the big, and some small, hotels/resorts. I've dove with them several times, as well as with a homegrown outfit that services Atlantis (the biggest joke I've ever dove), and have never been disappointed. They also have ultra-professional photo and video teams, to get all the media you want, without having to drag a camera. And, all of their sites are within a 15 minute run from their land shop and dock.
