17lbs is very impressive. I know there are reports of 20pluslb bugs from the past, but I believe the largest ever recorded is the 18lb bug taken a couple of years ago by a hoop netter off the LB wall. Missed it by a pound. Perhaps you have the diving recored, if you have any insight into diving records for largest bug ever, please post.
