Eco, your right

Lets not stop here, lets restrict scuba diving to those times not intrusive to the fish.

Hard core enviros care nothing of your enjoyment of the sea. They see us as all the same. When it is realized, it will be to late. Just talk to some old climbers...we have been through this before.
