Last Sunday July 31, 2011 I was diving at Anacapa Island, California aboard the Peace. On the second dive of the day at Cathedral Rock in the East end Preserve I encountered another Limaria sp. (Swimming File Shell). I had encountered others this year at San Clemente Island and Santa Catalina Island, but the pictures were poor. This time I got some great shots of this specimen.

On the last dive of the day at Fish Camp, on which I did not bring a camera, I found another Limaria sp. (Swimming File Shell).
