New nudi, Hallaxa chani |

Vaguely nudibranch-like, it looked like a tiny, pale, gelatinous blob. I took a couple perfunctory shots. After the dive, Phil thought it looked different, and found it in Behren's Eastern Pacific Nudibranchs. Phil Photoshopped these up for ID purposes. Perhaps this sighting extends their southern range even further. The Sea Slug Forum has more info on these guys. |
