"Well Merry, This is a tough one since I have only a passing interest in Limpets. However, that said, I believe your little guy is most likely one of 2 possiblities. The picture is not definite enough to tell for sure. It looks like by the surrounding material, it is probably less than 30mm. Size matters. Ha Ha. My first guess is Diodora arnoldi, J. McLean,1966. The other possibility is Diodora aspera (Rathke,1833).
I'm leaning toward arnoldi because the habitat fits. Aspera has more distinct rays of purplish grey color which I can't see in your photos."
