Great report!

I live up in Norcal and Menddocino is my normal dive area.
I've been trying in vain for years to get people from Socal to realize what we have and to come visit but I finally gave up.
A boat or kayak can open up a whole new world and add another layer of discovery.
There are some offshore pinnacles that rival some of the best diving out at San Miguel except they are only a mile or so offshore. Giant pacific octopuss, wolf eels, big lingcod, puget sound crabs, and all sorts of other stuff.
The other day it was 60 foot vis on a pinnacle I call the Ice Cream Cone.

It's great to see someone from LA coming up here and enjoying what we have.
