We were there last weekend diving for them. There were a tone on the beach and upside down underwater. Many were barely clinging to rocks underwater. You could pull them off easily with your hand. There were many that were healthy as well though. Conditions were horrible. Large swells, tons of organic debris in the water and many jellyfish. After the dive on Saturday morning, the lifeguards drove up in their truck to make sure we made it out of the water okay and mentioned that the coasties had just spotted a big great white in the next cover over. Stump beach? Anyway, we ate a few of our abs with no health issues.
