On Labor day weekend (September 3-4,2011) I went to Catalina for two days aboard the Great Escape.
It was my weekend to have the wrong lens almost every dive. I saw a black sea bass at Yellowtail Point when I had my macro lens on.

A rare for California Berthellina ilisima when I had my wide angle on.

But I did get some nice fish pictures






I even managed to find a nudibranch when I had my macro lens on.

On the topside we saw two bald eagles at Torqua Springs and I got a passable picture of one.

I was a great relaxed dive trip with outstanding food. I'm very glad I went.
