we dived Aliso beach thur night and conditions were very nice, flat surf vis up to 20', water temp 55 deep, and 64 shallow. I hit the shallows and got a 27" 7lb halibut, last fish of the season before bug season. I saw dead large Humboldt squid in the shallows, and my buddies saw schools of squid on the pipe, and some large Humboldts feeding on fish and the smaller squid at 70' deep on the pipe. A great dive and conditions were very nice.
