Redondo Beach Blue Whales

Yesterday, I went kayaking out of Redondo Harbor with my wife and a couple of friends in search of the Blue Whales that have been hanging around for the last few weeks. With me, I had my new GoPro head mounted video camera that could shoot video while I paddled. We got extremely lucky and had a couple of exhilaratingly close encounters at about 3.5 miles from the harbor. One whale popped up next to the kayak and sprayed me and the camera with some whale spit. I posted some video at YouTube if anyone wants to check out our experience.
