My PERSONAL opinion is that your videos are spectacular, and do benefit the whales by inspiring the public to admire and respect them.

My wife was of the same opinion, but...

She was concerned that this style of whale watching might be a violation of the rules (laws) She is on the board of the local whale watch chapter, but did not have the rules memorized. So we dunno.

The reason that I bring this up. is that I really do not want your (really cool) video to inspire yahoos to actually harass them.

Me, I think that they barely, or may not have noticed you, so I am not critical.

Just envious.
