Probably ok. But you are breaking the law. you are not allowed to "tail" them until right before you cook or eat them. From DFG regulations "Spiny lobsters shall be kept in a whole, measurable condition, until being prepared for
immediate consumption."

DFG watches some of the boards.. You might want to eat those ones.
