Redondo Beach Artificial Reef |
Posted by Max Bottomtime on November 16, 2011 at 18:36:34: Dr. John Bibb joined Merry and me for an afternoon dive on the Redondo Beach Artificial Reef. Visibility was down from our previous dives here and the marine life was shutting down for the evening. The metridiums were closed. There were no octopus nor cabezon eggs to be found. The one thing different about this dive was the sea lions. There were several who remained with us throughout the dive, and one who was a little brat. During our ascent she constantly blew bubbles, bared teeth and twice nipped at my hood. I was shooting macro today, so no sea lion close-ups. |
