I think the shop in Hermosa may have changed hands, but it's still there -- now called Freedive N Spear, 950 Aviation, phone 310 374-7333. They have a website at htttp://www.freedivenspear.com . I just talked to them, and they carry several brands of fins including Omer and Cressi. As mentioned you'll need to buy a pair of neoprene socks (not scuba-style neoprene boots) to go with them.
