Posted by Chris on December 15, 2011 at 00:24:12: Last Saturday December 10 I went on an open boat on the Peace to the West end of Santa Cruz Island. Besides getting some nice bugs I took some pictures as well. The third dive of the day was just West of Diablo Rock. Instead of going to the rock I poked around on the sand in mixed shell fragments and gravel at 50-70 feet and encountered a Spirontocaris prionota (Deep Blade Shrimp). Tis is the first time i saw one when I had a camera and these are the pictures.
