Ellis R Cross devotes twenty two pages (210 to 232) to the salvage of the Squalus gleaned from previously published material. This article was only article Mr. Cross published on the Squalus. Once again the best modern account is Peter Maas "The Terrible Hours." It is still available at a reasonable price on the used book market. A must have book for the diving historian or diving bibliophile interested in the salvage of the Squalus almost seventy five years ago. sdm
