A new buddy from work and I did a single dive on the Avalon Wreck Saturday morning, despite a building swell. Visibility on the surface was a shmutzy 8 ft. with a lot of stringy stuff floating around. down at about 20-30 feet vis opened up to a very nice 20-25 feet. Water temp at depth was 52 degrees warming from a chilly 49 a few weeks ago! Only notable sighting was a sculpin the size of a fat house cat! We had the pleasure of seeing Merry and Phil on our way out... hope they resolved their Battery issue!
