I use the UK SL4 ELED as a backup and am happy with it. I also use a Fantasea LED 44. Nice soft wider beam, useful as a focus light for night photography. Eyes adjust to low light output, then buddy's UK Light Canon ELED looks twice as bright and I'm hit with the illusion that the vis is twice as good. My advice? Get a loyal buddy with a great light.
